Jess Rice

jess-rice-2018She's back! Jess Rice was the inaugural speaker at the very first Nashville VegFest and we are excited to have her back! Jess is the former owner and executive chef of Avo, Nashville's first raw vegan restaurant. During her time at the helm of the kitchen, Avo won the 2015 Critic's Pick for "Best New Restaurant" and the reader's poll award for "Best Vegetarian" in the Nashville Scene. Rice was named one of the country's "Hottest Plant-based Chefs" in Thrive Magazine and has been featured in multiple issues of Nashville Lifestyles, Native Magazine, and Edible Magazine for her work with gourmet vegan food. 2018 is already proving to be an exciting year for Jess, so catch her while you can at the 2018 Nashville VegFest!
